at the same time i think you clinton people should tamper down expectations.
clinton is no obama.
obama is charismatic, smooth, and people are naturally drawn to him.
clinton is none of that.
i lean left and still go back to watching debate videos of trump because he's so entertaining.
i agree he's an idiot, but he has personality and charisma where clinton doesnt.
But she is a woman, white, more moderate, more hawkish, married to a popular former President . . . . Those are viewed positively by a good chunk of our population. Obama will be campaigning hard for her, too. So I am not sure what the "net" would be.
She is up by way more than 4. RCP has it as +5.8 for Clinton. If we take out LA Times (covered extensively in another thread) it's +6.8 with many individual polls having her at +8 or +9. Still, the overall national doesn't matter.
Even if Trump won every state that is still considered a toss up he still wouldn't have enough to win...
National polls from the last few days have Hillary up as much as 9 points, and she leads in every battleground state. She has astounding leads in PA, VA, NH, CO, has solid leads in MN, WI, MI, and has 5-pt lead in Florida. She has many ways to win, Trump has virtually none.
Most crooked, no ground game, no TV ads, potential nuclear destruction....4 point race. Trump overachieving.
Uh yeah, you keep telling yourself that there bud. Hope it's great comfort to you if he loses though.
I think most Trump fans are just happy that Hillary happens to be the anti-establishment opponent. She's probably the only chance that a candidate like Trump has to win.
We are making the assumption Trump supporters understand the Electoral College. They don't.
