Democrats were downright vile and evil during that event and we all know why, the people of Louisiana remember it very well.
Maybe Blanco was being polite and respectful to a sitting president? Although rare, it happens.

As I said upthread, I never blamed anything that happened with Katrina on Bush. The "helluva job, Brownie" comment was stupid, but Presidents aren't in charge of making sure the national guard gets to a situation with supplies after a tragedy.

You know what is hilarious about this? If Clinton had done the same thing the Trumpkins would be bashing her for making a media spectacle out of a tragedy. You know it and I know it.

Hopefully the Donald will bring a couple of his recently released statutes to bring some mirth into the lives of those devastated by this disaster. In all seriousness, maybe the two candidates T/P will talk about global warming and the impact it's having on these kinds of tragedies...oh wait, they don't believe in it.

No surprise that Obama didn't go to LA or CA for that matter, after all no cop shot a black man. If he can't use the race card, he continues to fiddle.

AFA Trump going for a photo op, or whatever, point is HE WENT. We are spending billions of dollars in countries that hate the US and we have Americans homeless due to fires and flooding. Really? We are so screwed up. And Hillary wants to provide for 65K immigrants. No wonder Americans don't feel patriotic.

Obama shamed into making announcement he will visit La. next week.

One disaster is going to visit another. How will we tell them apart ? One is all wet and the other is under water. You decide !!!!
