Just as an FYI- if he is using his companies for services for his campaign, he's required by FEC regulations to pay for those services at the market rate. If he gives a discount to his campaign, that is considered an "in kind" donation and it's not allowed.

The Democrats need to make an attack ad out of those numbers and show the American public that Don the Con is using this campaign merely to line his pockets. Never has there been a more concrete and easy to identify example of that truth than this.

WTF? Where did you get that from? Did you go back and read the update from the campaign that said they INCEASED the size of the HQ? How did you twist into such a pretzel?
So you can't provide any evidence that what he is charging is not market rate.
What has changed is that Trump is charging the market rate for the rental. It's perfectly fair, and legal.
As usual the media has to make up lies to attack Trump.
When Trump was paying, it was $35,000 per month. Legally, that has to be the going rate for the space because if he gave his campaign a discount on that would be an "in-kind contribution" which would be a campaign law violation. So the only rational , legitimate reason for such an increase would be if if increased the headquarters square footage somewhere around 4 to 5 times. At the same time, the number of staff at the headquarters decreased so the square footage cost per staff would have gone up anyway.
The question is how does he justify a near 5 times increase when the number of staff assigned there has actually been reduced?
