This is unprecedented and pretty bad.
Of course they don't, they are the one that put the current system in place.

Lets take a look at what these presidential advises gave us.

The current president will be the first to not see 3% GDP growth.

Median wages are down

Median income is down

Median net worth is down

Homeownership is at record lows

Private debt is up

Public debt has doubled

There are record numbers of people receiving food stamps.

There are records number of people on public assistance.

Pretty close. Still, it's kind of amazing at the unamimity of comments that demonstrate a total lack of respect for expertise and sober, considered opinion.

Yeah, because The Atlantic has only been around as a respected journal since, what, 1857? I guess they've been fooling everyone but you since that time. And don't forget to throw in The Wall Street Journal, the originator of the story...

And Trump doesn't have these things? Trump isn't looking out for his own self? Trump is going to do wonderful things for you? Wow!

This. All these threads about how the status quo doesn't want change only solidifies my support behind Trump. The more they whine, the more I see just how much they all need to gtfo.

Yeah !!! What do these experts know, Trump don't need no stinkin' experts to tell him how to do economic things. After all, he is rich and has spent more time in bankruptcy court than all these experts put together !

"Make America broke again !" (after all, Trump said he loves it when the economy is bad because he makes more money when times are bad.)
