Trump is an upstanding businessman, great and honest father, husband and family man, he's an amazing candidate and yet, with all the minutia that's spread around about him, people don't know what to believe, most people are just weak minded and buying into the rhetoric, there's nothing wrong with Trump, he's the best candidate we've had in a really long time.
I wonder when I read posts such as the one above, if the author actually manages to maintain a straight face and or actually believes what he/she is writing there.
Do people really and, this actually goes for both sides, get so wrapped up in the favorite candidate that they totally have a blind eye to their chosen savior?
I mean if one takes a step back and looks at things how can one not see that Clinton and Trump both are liars and opportunist and a far cry from the morally impeccable person they sell themselves for.
Trump and the Clintons have been close for years for crying out loud. Some of the very things Trump is now attacking Clinton for (Bill for example) is the very same he went to bat for him in the past.
Are people really that easily played and gullible? Trump the upstanding family man, after 3 trophy wives and admitting that parenting for him means throwing money at it while she takes care of the rest.......
It's just mind boggling.
The mainstream media has been releasing daily stories making unfounded claims, and insinuating wrongdoing without any evidence.
First we has the story insinuating wrongdoing on Trump's part over rent costs without providing any evidence of any wrongdoing.
Then the story about buying books.
Then the debunked 35 year old story they have been pushing for the last year about undocumented workers.
Today two stories insinuating wrongdoing by one of Trump's campaign managers, again, without any proof of wrongdoing.
When are people going to stand up, and demand that the media have an ounce of integrity, neutrality, and objectivity, and stop making unfounded claims, and insinuating wrongdoing without any evidence.
When are people going to demand that the media stop being so overtly biased, and being nothing more than outlets for political opinion, rather than reporting the facts objectivity.
Since when did we as a society become willing to tolerate this kind of conduct by the media?
About the same time when you guys are going to stop making up **** about Obama's birth certificate and all the lies about Hillary's health.

Hilarious thread start, OP! I see you're using the "accuse the other guys of doing exactly what we're doing in the hopes that it distracts them from our strategy" line of reasoning.
The entire GOP campaign strategy for this election is based on false allegations and unfounded claims against Clinton. Oh, and smears. Can't leave out smears. Oh, and never-ending witch hunts, too.

Hit the nail on the head with this response. There is a big reduction in the number of Trump cultists that post this sort of thing in many discussion forums, not just at City-Data and in the number of them responding. It's becoming harder and harder for all but the most brainwashed to keep supporting their guru. Notice that virtually none of them post anything positive about Trump's platform or plan - the only thing they are left with is the same old tactic of taking cheap shots at "the liberals". The only point in most of these posts is to keep the irrational justifications circling in their own head.
Probably after Drumpf's humiliating defeat in November.
But then, there's always a chance that the GOP's sore losers will entertain us for months/years afterwards.
Just like they have with President Obama.
No doubt about the entertainment. The difference is that this time, some of them are downright dangerous. Like spoiled children when they don't get their way, I predict we'll have another Tim McVeigh style event.
There have been some that have publicly stated that Hillary violated the law.
Most notable are the very public figures. Rudy Giuliani, Joseph E. diGenova, Jeanine Pirro, non-prosecutors, Judge Napolitano, Tom Fitton, Christopher Farrell.

That's not debunking. There are thousands of pages of legal documents and he paid settlement money although the amounts are not public because one of his conditions was sealing the records. And on top of that, the workers had to sue to get the full pay they were promised.

There were 200 Polish workers, and only a few were undocumented.
Trump's contractor hired them, not Trump.
This story was debunked over a year ago when the left first tried to pushing it.
Despite the media trying several times to push the story, the story never gained any traction, because like all the other claims, there is no evidence of wrongdoing.

I've never made anything up.
I've posted all of the documented evidence from left leaning media sources to show Hillary's serious medical conditions.
We always hear the left saying that they can speculate, and make up stories about Trump's taxes, and health until he releases his returns, and medical records. So, why can't people on the right comment on the very concerning evidence of Hillary's serious health issues?

This stuff been going on since at least the Greeks founded democracy....probably before that. Methods of how people distribute allegations false or otherwise have changed. But the same arts of spin/ negative persuasion remain the same.
So basically......never as long as the human race engages in politics.
