Condi will be too busy meeting with her lawyers and preparing her defense(s).
For what exactly? And don't you think the Pelosi congress would have tried impeachment of GWB, VP, Condi, Rumsfield if they had a smidgen of cause/evidence? Some seem to forget the office of the President DOES have a wee bit of power.

And if they would have tried impeachment, they better start the lines now, considering ALL that GWB has done - war, wiretapping, and the like were authorized/agreed on/condoned by congress and the dems.

Pelosi isn't dumb. She knew all the power Bush has been racking up under the Executive Branch will be put to good use by the Democratic President in 09.

I believe he has been taking back some of the presidential power that previous presidents have ceded to congress.

I know better than to have this argument. We disagree.

I agree about Richardson for the dems. As for the Republicans, Tancredo would make sense on one hand with his tough stance on immigration, but he seemed to be a single issue candidate who also would possibly be criticized for position changes on gun control.

There are quite a number of options. Does anyone have an idea who McCain might choose as a running mate.
How about Joe Sestak or James Webb? Both Navy men.

Wrong election. She'd have been good w/Kerry. They spent enough time in the '70s smearing the country.
