I am not sure you could consider a net worth of 1.3 million middle class. Its not extremely wealthy but its above middle class. Most middle class people have mortgages and debt that eat up their net worth to a lesser amount.
Yes, it is middle class. Not blue collar, but definitely not wealthy. It's the UMC (upper middle class). The middle class isn't just a married couple earning a combined $50K a year.
Two married professionals clearing $200K annually each...they could easily have a net worth of a million dollars by the time they were 40 years of age if they started at 30 years of age.
Back in the 1990's, two guys owned the company where I used to be employed, a financial services firm that had about 60 employees. When they sold the company in their 40's and got $15 million each, I said to one of them that he was now wealthy (upper class) - he quickly dissuaded me of that notion.
The members of the upper class never need to work for a living and easily live large on their investment income; that seems to start roughly somewhere in the $30 million net worth range.
Trumps ad looks like if you vote for him you will be guaranteed a prominent position in the promised land, vote for Hillary and it will be nothing but doom and gloom, yeah you tell us Don.Problem is all
Trumps empty promises of what he will do if elected has to pass through congressional approval and as was shown in the last 8 years a politician doesnt always get what he wants.
Basically Trumps whole campaign is about trashing Hillary,it aint working as most voters just arent that vacuous and can see right through his bluster and bs.. He also has this weird habit of saying everything twice kinda like he's filling his speeches with non essential verbiage to make it appear he is saying more than he actually is.

So you're saying that Trump needs to be a dictator. Hmm...

Ok fair enough. I however would consider a couple clearing 400,000 a year more than middle class in most places in the country. I figure they could retire at 50 and live off investments. That said, where I am from clearing that much would be considered upper middle class due to the cost of living and home prices.

$400K/year is more than middle class. The middle is typically defined by the middle and excludes the people at the bottom and top of the income distribution.
