I would not feel any better about any of them supporting Trump. These people are paid for their professional ability-whether acting, singing, throwing a football, whatever.
Part of the blame is we went from 3 networks with 22 minute newscasts to hundreds or thousands of 24/7 available outlets, who need something to cover. And there isn't always newsworthy stuff. So they cover these clowns.
In addition, even pols win based on celebrity appeal. The movie Game Change brought up that accurate point as the foundation for both Obama and Palin. Trump certainly has that, too. So it is circular-the celebrity/public statesman line has been blurred-going back to JFK, on to Reagan, on to Obama, on to Trump.
Back on point, though, a celebrity's opinion is about as objective as an infomercial.
**** off the media and the celebrity elites, vote Trump.
So, the sense I get is that most of you are in favor of restricting the First Amendment rights of celebrities?
They can have all of the first amendment rights they want as long as it does not interfere with the job they are paid to do and they fall within the requirements and guidelines of the contract signed.
We we go to a baseball game we do not pay for a ticket to a political rally, we pay for a ticket to a baseball game and that is all we want to see and hear is baseball.
