Gary should come out of the closet. He is gay! He has that gay mannerism of my wife's hairstylist and he is gay.

Weld is a RINO and has NOTHING Libertarian. He is more of the Hillary philosophy of government, there is a reason he speaks highly of Hillary and would be endorsing her if he didn't already gave his word to Gary to run with him.

yeah, he is going to fit well with the Mormons with gay marriage, for abortions on demand and legalize pot.

another obstacle is Gary doesn't live in Utah.....unless he pulls what Hillary did in New York......doubt it!

Weld thought by joining Gary on the libertarian ticket that would hurt Trump and help Hillary get elected just like in 1992 when Ross Perot hurt Bush Sr and helped Bill Clinton get elected., He despises Trump......But the evidence shows the libertarian ticket is hurting Hillary.

so if Weld's drops out after coming so far, He is a traitor and he showed his true intentions.

I heard that Hillary actually died, and they found a look-alike.

His campaign HQ has been in Salt Lake City for both 2012 and 2016. There must be a reason Johnson chose that location and regularly polls between 20% and 29% there. The governor refused to endorse Trump and Johnson has an endorsement from a US House of Representative Republican. Johnsons largest rally wasn't in New Mexico, but again in SLC where about 2,000 people showed up. Utah also a state Senator who is a Libertarian.

Utah does actually lean quite libertarian, more so then the typical Republican state.

If Johnson did run for a different office, which he should imo, he should stay in New Mexico, that is where he best known and respected. Utah would be a good second choice.

It's not uncommon for politicians to move around and run in different states then they grew up in.

But if Johnson did hypothetically run in a state election, a couple million dollars would be a great start. He shouldn't run for president again after this election. Let some new younger person with more energy go. Petersen wasn't bad at all.

The Libertarian Party has made significant strides with Johnson helping a great deal.

With the Republicans drifting quickly towards nationalism and protectionism, I see a large void being created where many voters no longer have a political home.

The Libertarians are picking up a lot of moderates and libertarian leaning conservatives who don't accept the ideas of an even larger military with more military actions abroad, increased tariffs, and anti free trade.

Nationalism, protectionism, increased military budget and military presence overseas. It's just a huge terrible combination.

I'm not very libertarian, but I've realized I would rather be with a party who aligns libertarian, then the party who is controlled by the social and neo conservatives.
