Chelsea is also a huge factor as well as Chelsea's baby. Families stay together for different reasons, and we may think their marriage is odd, I bet a lot of us are in marriages that others would view as strange too.
Bill is always going to be Bill, he is just a charming rat. Hillary is the stable one in the family and she looks at the big picture, ie, Chelsea, the grandbaby, years and years of being with Bill, etc. I think it shows how strong of a woman she is to withstand that period and come through it fairly intact. I respect her for doing exactly what she did, lesser women would have walked away, she did not.

I'd like to add that Bill Clinton was one of the most popular and successful U.S. Presidents and is admired around the world. Now that his wife is running for the same office, the right is trying to destroy his legacy. I'm not saying that the Democrats gave Bush a pass, but the economy was not in the toilet when Clinton was in the White House. I guess a lot of people have amnesia, since I clearly recall Bush standing in front of our nation in 2008 announcing the economic crisis we were facing. That was nearly 8 years after Clinton left office.
And it was because Bill Clinton's economic working group advised him to leave derivatives unregulated that the economy imploded eight years later.

IMO, Hillary stayed with Bill because she knew that if she divorced him her chances of ever becoming POTUS would be close to zero.
Even though that is now less likely, time has marched on and there wouldn't be as much of a point in getting a divorce at this point. Hillary tolerated "The Energizer Bunny", and there really isn't any indication that she wouldn't tolerate the next one. And Bill is older now, and has less energy for 'tomcatting'. Neither would want a public fight over their assets, and I do agree with you re Chelsea and the grandkids...they would rather 'keep up appearances' as much as possible so that Chelsea and the grandkids can feel as much pride as possible. As another poster pointed out, they can simply choose not to spend much time together.
I'm guessing those two losers remain married because they rarely encounter one another. Both have their own lives and spend much time traveling the world separately.
Corrupt hillary has been on her sympathy tour since December, 2016, and broke dick Bill has been doing his own thing, traveling to where under age girls are plentiful, and dreaming of the old days when he was still able to preform.
Reminds me of an old joke, "Hillary is so ugly that Bill takes her with him wherever he goes, just so he won't have to kiss her goodbye"...!!
