Estate taxes have been around for 100 years. There is nothing stupid about them at all. They are an appropriate way to tax gains on assets held over a lifetime, since those gains were never previously taxed.
So... why have the Clintons deliberately acted to shield their estate holdings from taxes?
Please know that these billionaires/multi-millionaires have accountants who know tax laws to escape paying taxes, even the taxes due when they kick the bucket.
^^ This. The rich have their property protected against politicians like Obama and Hillary. The Clintons are already shielded. Hillary is doing this to play to people's ignorance like Obama did to make them believe they are "getting the rich". Are people so dumb to think that the rich would be voting for Hillary if she was truly after the rich?
People, the rich didn't get rich by giving their money away to the government. The rich aren't stupid but Hillary thinks you are stupid. It's people like farmers who will pay heavily or lose the farm when the elder passes on.
