The wheels of John McCain's campaign plane hadn't even touched the tarmac on Ohio soil Tuesday when two of Ohio's top Democrats started firing away at the Arizona Republican in a preview of the fall campaign.

"Because of John McCain's past behavior, he's running for a third Bush term," U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown told Ohio reporters. He and state Democratic chairman Chris Redfern blasted McCain on economic issues.
