Reply after reply after reply. Like I said, obviously some upset people.

No objective person believes that.

I understand that Hillary is tanking, and desperately needs her supporters to believe she won, but that doesn't make it true.

Trump lied from the get-go. The CEO of Ford said Trump made up the move to Mexico and that no American jobs are being lost. In fact, Mark Fields said it a week ago and Trump continues to ignore the truth.

ROTFLMAO!!! Have a good day.

Poor you. You see simple conversation as a form of distress.

I have been thinking the same thing all day. I have been shocked to see most polls stating Trump won the debate, sometimes by landslide margins. My initial thought was the same as yours - that people watched the 20 or 30 minutes that Trump dominated, and then switched on football.

Another plausible explanation is that people did not want to see the traditional slick politician debate performance. On paper, Hillary's performance was a textbook example of how Presidential debates have been won in the past. But what if voters don't want that this year?

Losers usually flee the scene just like Hillary did.

Trump won, hands down. Hillary had her defenses up, the smug smile, the fake laughter and haughtiness. Those are defenses to give the air of self assurance when you know your opponent is right.

She had the audacity to talk about email hacking, after she has been found guilty of mishandling thousands of classified communications through the use of a private, unsecure server, which was hacked! What gall!

Then she dredged up the phrase, "trickle down" to describe Trumps economic proposal, saying that it was Reagan's "trickle down" economics that led to the 2008 recession! Thirty some years after Reagan! And of course she never mentioned the fact that it was the Democrats that created the "mortgage meltdown" with "no-qual" loans, that forced bands to lend to unqualified buyers. Nor did she mention that home ownership is at it's lowest point since WWII!

Trump scored a touchdown on every point.

Interesting theory. I'm not sure Trump has the self-discipline to hold back so that he can really unload on her later. The other consideration is that the first debate might be the high water mark in terms of viewers. Or is he counting on the hype drawing more viewers so that he can nail her later?

Either way, I think he was foolish for holding back. Consistent repetition is more effective at conditioning minds.
