I've heard both:

"A No vote is a vote for Hillary!"

"A No vote is a vote for Trump!"

What does that mean? Does it depend on what state you live in, for example, a swing state?

Not voting is not voting. It can be out of laziness, apathy or an act of protest, etc. We are not required to vote, but have the right to vote, but if things continue to the way they have been, expect that to be a thing of the past in the future, thus my reason for voting!

In my state - Ohio, it is a vote for Trump. However, I do believe we will have pretty high voter turnout, yet, I know a lot of people here who are voting for Gary Johnson and those voters (which are 8-10% of the voting public) IMO are voting for Trump as well.

I would say the turnout doesn't get close to 2008 numbers. From my POV. No real enthusiasm for either of these two candidates.

As to the question the OP put out. it really depends on what state you live in.
