The average tax rate is what? 30%? At that AVERAGE rate, she should have paid $42 million...not $3 million.
If that is in fact her net worth it was earned over several years. you would also have to include all of the taxes paid from those years.

In 2015 they made about 10,800,000 and paid over 3,000,000 in federal taxes and about 1,000,000 in NYS taxes. 40%

Um, you don't know how to do taxes, do you?

You are taxed on EARNINGS, not wealth. The Clinton family's EARNINGS were $10 million last year, and she paid $3.2 million in federal taxes. That's the highest federal rate.

You don't pay income taxes on your house, or your car, or your furniture, or your 401k. You seriously didn't know this??

That looks suspiciously like her fair share, doesn't it.

Another RW meme slapped down.

Thank you.

That's how the conservatives are trying to dumb down this discussion at this point.

And I love the laughable notion that we should have a voluntary tax system for the ultra wealthy. That's basically what the GOP is advocating for, though.

And in a lot of NYC real estate deals he's lobbied for big tax breaks and subsidies on his projects.

Are Trump supporters now saying that $3.24 million in federal income taxes is insufficient? Her income is being taxed at the absolute top rate.

That's it, $3.24 million? Chump change by Clinton's standards. Oh never mind, the Clinton's shelter most of their income in the Crooked Clinton Foundation. But hey, considering they were broke when Billy's presidential term was over they've done darn good!

That actually sounds like Trump's debating ranting. Completely meaningless gibberish.

So then, by your "logic" Its perfectly fine that $0 is Trumps "fair share" since he has probably spent far more in 2015 than he earned...despite him being worth $10 billion...right? Why do you need to see his tax return?

Seriously?

Double standard noted.
There will be no rational response to this, they can't justify that position and they know it. This all about following a leader blindly into the ditch, no matter whether they KNOW he does not serve their interests in any way.
