You should pick a President based on policy proposals. Being a crook or being a liar or being a bad person are small potatoes when it comes to the sorts of impact a President has on the world. I'm quite convinced the Clintons are liars and shady characters, but that doesn't preclude either of them from being great Presidents. Bill was a great President, and I would be surprised if Hillary isn't at least adequate.

1. There's a lot more to being President than simply making judgment calls about foreign policy.
2. Trump has shown he knows less than Clinton in literally every single area of foreign policy. You may not like Clinton's record as SOS -- although my guess is that's a highly partisan opinion -- but it's completely false that anything would be better than that. What you are advocating is along the lines of going to a psychic because you don't like your doctor. A bad doctor is still better than a person who knows absolutely nothing about medicine.
Edit to add: If you were to make a list of the most significant actions of Obama's Presidency -- for better or worse -- most of them would be the product of some policy vision he had. Obamacare is probably the most obvious example. Those sorts of policy visions change lives for millions of people, again for better or worse. That is why the most important thing here is policy, not some TMZ-style gossip chat or one-line zingers about emails or sex tapes.
