Did they tell you that for example, that USA Today, Arizona Republic and Cincinnatti Enquirer are all owned by the same company, Gannett, which also owns some NBC affiliated TV stations.
There are very few independent newspapers these days.
Trump's going to lower my taxes, so I really don't care what these papers (that I've never even heard of) think. I'll just remember that they're not worth reading.

Do you read Politifact? Something tells me you don't.
On average, experts scored the Trump tax plan’s chances of passing as a D. The campaign has said the details of his tax plan are subject to change, and would soon announce a new policy. It hasn’t yet done so.

Look at this:
Its average weekday print circulation totaled 1.08 million, but the paper also had an additional 1.6 million in "branded editions" circulation. USA TODAY also has 1.4 million in "digital non-replica" circulation, which refers largely to the number of readers who read the publication for free on its mobile apps.

I don't read PolitiFAKE because I know they are biased, as it's been proven that they "fact-check" republicans 3 to 4 times MORE than democrats.
ANYONE who wants to throw PolitiFAKE my way, I'm telling you now that you keep up your butthole.
I'll trust Trump's words more than fools at PolitiFAKE who take them out of context.
Also, any economist who favors Obama's economy and Hillary's "plans" loses credibility with me. "Trickle down doesn't WORK!", she yells. YES IT DOES!! It worked for Kennedy. It worked for Reagan. They demonize Bush's tax cuts, but they keep leaving out the fact that democrats who held both chambers of congress let his tax cuts EXPIRE, which played a role in the 2008 crash.

Yes, but who would be so gullible to let the media (any media) tell them who to vote for??? The current thought process is to come up with it on your own and the media.

Newspapers are irrelevant. Technology has killed them all.

You are being dismissive.
I think you are in denial.
Of course no one is arguing that newspapers has the power they once had (like when Hearst practically launched the Spanish-American War.) . We all recognize the power of the electronic media.
The point of this thread is this: traditionally conservative newspapers that always or almost always endorsed the Republican nominee have turned their back on this one. That is noteworthy. McCain and Romney at least had the support of these organizations; Trump does not.
Let me make something clear: this going to be a tight race. In this day and age there are no "landslides." The Republican base is going to vote for the Republican; the Democratic base is going to vote for the Democrat. The election will be decided by the independents, the moderates, the undecided. The election is going to be decided in the battleground states.
It's not only the newspapers that might just tip the election in favor of Hillary ... it is part of a tide of Republican ex-Presidents and First Ladies who refuse to support Trump, Republican organizations such as the Harvard Republican Club and the University of Pennsylvania Republican Club that refuse to endorse him, elected Republican politicians like my own Senator Pat Toomey who refuse to endorse him.

Capiche?
...and I think you are being dismissive of the fact that this type of action is not a good scenario for news organizations and their efforts to maintain the trust of readers. If people wish to get sucked into believing every little piece of propaganda that aligns with their political agenda, that is on them, but it makes them look ridiculously stupid as a result.
