You got that right lol, (liberals ass backwards)
Thank you!

Why don't one of these idiot liberals submit their 2016 1040 to the IRS saying they owe nothing and see how that works out for them? It's not like you can just submit your return and they take you at face value as every relevant document (W-2/1099/K-1/1099-INT/HUD-1, the list goes on) is sent directly to the IRS by the issuer (with severe penalties for failing to comply).

My opinion is different regarding this. I don't think any of the candidates should be required to do this. I think what someone makes is between them and the IRS. I find it odd that people find this unseemly, but not hiding a birth certificate or tens of thousands of emails that shouldn't have been private. I have been required to prove citizenship for things much less then wanting to run the country and the email thing was criminal even if she did get away with it. The same rules clearly don't apply to everyone.

Most people do not understand charitable foundations.

All charitable foundations are established to avoid paying taxes.

The most common type of foundation is the grant making organization. Wealthy people/ families typically establish such foundations to isolate sums of money for future charatible giving because the investment income is tax exempt. The Trump And Clinton Family Foundations are examples of this.

Less common is the Operating Foundation which recieves grants from sources independent of the family and conducts its own charitable operation to achieve its humanitarian purpose. The Clinton Foundation is one example of a Operation Foundation. It has achieved 4 out of 4 stars by prominate organizations who rate public charities.

The highest paid public speakers are Trump, Reagan and then Bill Clinton in that order. Bill makes up for it with the volume of paid speeches. So what?

All politicians are expected to fund raise for themselves and their party. Neither Trump or Clinton is an exception.

That the Clintons chose to not close the Clinton Foundation while she was SoS created a vulnerability to a perception of a conflict of interest. No way to prove or disprove Pay for Play. No way to shake a perception of a conflict of interest when soliciting donations for charitable purposes from people who might percieve quid pro quo.

The first obligation of a politician is to avoid doing anything that creates a potential conflict of interest.

Both Clinton and Trump are vulnerable. She because of the Clinton Foundation. He because he is up to his eyeballs in debt to banks he will have responsibility for regulating and business operations in countries that have people linked to funding terrorism.

What happens when the next Trump property has to declare bankruptcy?

Again, their respective bases don't seem to care.

Trump knows and said the tax law is unfair and wants to fix it. Democrats don't want the tax code fixed to benefit the rest of us. They support Hillary "raising taxes on income".

This is one of the reasons why I want to vote for Trump. Thank you NYT's

NYT: Trump hasn't paid taxes in almost 20 years
If you make enough losses, you can use them to reduce your future taxes. I didn't know you can use losses from 1990's for so long, but apparently you can.

"Verily, verily I say unto you: It's easier to pass a camel through a needle's eye than to get a billionaire to pay his fair share of taxes."
Reverend Dan

It appears Trump has paid no income tax at all for over 20 years. He was content to force the rest of us to shoulder his share of the load.

The New York Times paid no taxes in 2014

"… for tax year 2014, The New York Times paid no taxes and got an income tax refund of $3.5 million even though they had a pre-tax profit of $29.9 million in 2014. In other words, their post-tax profit was higher than their pre-tax profit. The explanation in their 2014 annual report is, “The effective tax rate for 2014 was favorably affected by approximately $21.1 million for the reversal of reserves for uncertain tax positions due to the lapse of applicable statutes of limitations.” If you don’t think it took fancy accountants and tax lawyers to make that happen, read the statement again."
