I mentioned this before, but am I the only person who wishes Kaine would look at the camera and not the moderator?

Both of these men are well prepared and experienced. Kaine is correct, however, when he keeps saying Pence isn't defending Trump. Pence is also using GOP talking points and lying about the Clinton Foundation, since his accusations have been debunked. Saying the Trump Foundation gives 100% to charity is baloney. It gave $25,000 to Pam Bondi just ahead of an investigation in Florida (which she later dropped)

You can tell when Pence is making a point that Kaine knows he cannot dispute because Kaine gets uncomfortable and twitches his neck as his face gets read.

Not I---it is a non-office..until something bad happens.

I gave up and turned it off an hour into it.
kaine is a fit running mate for hillary. he has the same "I know best!" smirk facial expression, and is an alligator just like she is (alligator: One who is apparently mostly mouth, guts, and A$$, but few brains).
Pence is only slightly better. trump is possibly worse.
Elaine lost control right away when kaine continuously interrupted pence, and she could not stop him. Then, as the interruptions switched back and forth, she still had little or no control over the proceedings. She became totally useless as a moderator, IMO.

In future debates, I believe the moderator should be big enough and mean enough that the debaters will KNOW they had better behave. Better yet, give the moderator switches that control the microphones the debaters are using. The moderator asks a question, turns the mic on for the proper person, and a timer shuts it off at the end of two minutes. Same thing for rebuttals, but the timer is set for 30 seconds. Perhaps if the participants know they will be shut off, they will endeavor to directly answer the questions instead of blathering on about barely related garbage! I kept wishing elaine would have had the intestinal fortitude to scream "SHUT UP, both of you!" They deserved it!

Who "won" the fiasco? I give a slight edge to pence. He was probably the least annoying of the two. VERY slightly the least, but the least!
Maybe it got better in the last half hour, after I turned it off. Obviously, I gave up hope for anything better. These guys are our best and brightest?
We are screwed!

Oh, yeah, I forgot to reiterate: NO WAY in hell will I ever vote for clinton/kaine!

Thank goodness there's only one VP debate. I find Kaine obnoxious and lying while Pence is wooden and goes off on tangents. And the moderator is weak.
