that is because you are ignorant and/or an environmental radical. coal is abundant in this country. why wouldn't it boom if we have a president who isnt' anti-coal. it is still used throughout the country.

leftingers are bullish on solar power despite all these solar companies going out of bsuiness even when they got massive government subsidies. your solar will boom thing is as pie as the sky as it comes.

They won't completely put coal out of business.

What they will do is put most of the companies out of business except a couple, and then invest in them while the value is down. The remaining companies will run the market share and make a bunch of money for those who designed the whole war on coal.

George Soros is Investing Millions in Coal

According to a report from The Guardian, the Soros Management Fund (SMF) has spent over $2 million buying up shares of Peabody Energy (NYSE:BTU) and Arch Coal (NYSE:ACI) since April. Both companies have been under pressure due to falling coal prices, and have seen their share prices fall more than 90 percent over the past year.

Please understand that these people are interested in money and power. The whole climate change hoax is a vehicle to undertake money making schemes like the war on coal.

So the Republican party is now the party of labor as opposed to the party of management?

Climate change is real. Ask the Russians why they have military assets invested in the Northeast Passage. BTW, when the NE passage opens, it will cut the trip time by up to 28 days.

Smart people are counting on climate change and making plans accordingly.

Apparently, the truth is too much for you to handle.

When the climate change leaders put their money where their mouth is, and change their habits -- then I will start to consider if it is serious enough.

And global warming deniers are self-deluding fools.
