Don't forget this one from Biden.

"Too many Democrats are elitist and even unpatriotic"
Senator Joe Biden

Tsk tsk tsk. I see what you did there.

Here's the FULL quote:

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy"

Most people close to Obama would say that he smells like a field of fresh flowers.

Here's another gem from Biden:

“you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.”

Default To the dismay of the Regressives

Obama/Biden is an unbeatable ticket.

McCain scrambling to find his glasses on this one. His supporters in severe DENIAL.

Of course that was back when Hillary was considered a shoo-in for the nomination.

If instead Obama gets the nomination, IMHO it would make sense for him to offer the VP slot to Biden. Why?
(1) Biden's years of experience would counterbalance Obama's perceived lack of same
(2) Biden would appeal to moderates, middle/upper middle/upper class Dems, 'Reagan Democrats' and Independents
(3) Biden's history of being able to work effectively with Republicans would make it more likely for Obama's proposed changes/reforms to actually get somewhere
(4) Biden's extensive foreign policy experience would be the ideal antidote to Obama's total lack of it.

If Biden's initial rejection of the VP idea was based on the Hillary Factor, might he not change his mind if the offer came instead from Obama? No Bill Clinton to contend with then...

Thoughts on the wisdom/desirability of an Obama/Biden ticket?
