You'd be surprised. The millionaires on the beach have homes and roofs built to really strong code, have impact proof windows and an army of paid helpers shoring things up. He might have some landscaping issues or a couple of roof tiles.

Saturday, he'll take a cameraman in a helicopter to survey the damage and pass out water.

What's a double strong hurricane?

I've been involved in emergency management and planning for a couple decades and have never heard that term before.

But then again, what do the experts at NOAA, NASA and FEMA, who run the training, know about hurricanes? Especially double strong ones.

Trump is a denier to science https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...ce-sierra-club

What you mention is what we also discussed 15-20 years ago, when nuclear was promoted and is still so. On top of that came GW as can start a chain of reactions we can not stop or survive.
Ok go tell the Chinese(they are the ones polluting the most with their coal factories etc..). Then there are 260 mil cars in the US and 170+ mil in China, plus Europe etc..etc.. What has the present gov done about GW since they believe in it? Mass transit everywhere in the country? With what money? You have 20 trillion debt to deal with(8-9 of those racked up during the past 8 yrs).

Who's to say global warming is even bad? We've had some mild winters and it has been lovely, lots of deer, lots of wildlife, more vegetation survives. Growing season is longer, more bees to pollinate, winter damage quite minimal. I want my children to live in a better climate than me. I want them to have an easier life.

Every time I hear sea levels rising an inch I think, do these people not know there are saltwater fossils in Kansas? The Jersey shore had palm trees once. As far as I can tell life went on.

The double strong hurricane is somewhere between Sharknado 2 and Sharknado 3. It's serious, folks. Science. Trump is bad and stuff.
