Nonsense.
One of my Senators, who's a lifelong Republican, always a very popular one, and up for re-election, just withdrew his Trump endorsement and condemned Trump. He wasted no time in his denunciation either.
And he's only a part of the horde of other Republicans who have done the same. The landslide of condemnation has only begun. No one with a daughter, wife, or mother can support such a horrible comment in good conscience. And conservatives has just as much conscience as liberals. It was a deep offense to us all equally.
This is the very first time Trump has offered a real apology for anything he's said over the past 19 months. Even he knows how awful this is. His apology, though, should have stopped with the apology.
Attacking Clinton in the same statement betrayed how he really feels- he still likes what he said he did. The apology was only a political necessity. It did not come from his heart, because he's heartless. It did not come from his soul, because he doesn't have one.
You're right. The nooz and libs care very much about what Trump said 10 years ago. OMG The desperation is almost too much! LOL, I can't take it anymore!!!
So your perspective as a woman, is that what Trump said then was not offensive? Do you believe he's a changed man, that he's decided to become a different person over this 10 years? Or does it matter to you?
That is the only way half of the USA voters will get the message that the POTUS cannot do jack with the other branches of government. These Trump supporters think the POTUS sits in on every decision made by every flunky who is employed by the federal government.
Two years in and their messiah cannot get anything done will be a good lesson.
