Fortunately, there are many other people in this country who don't, and who understand that as repugnant as a rapist might be, they are still entitled to a defense under our laws and our Constitution. And they also understand that as an officer of the court, an attorney may be appointed by the court to defend someone they personally find repugnant and it doesn't make them into that person.

And your analogy is 100% false. John Adams defended the British soldiers after the Boston Massacre - at the time, that would have been equivalent of defending those who flew the planes into the World Trade Center if they had survived in terms of how much they were hated and reviled by the people of Massachusetts. Not because he agreed with them in any way, but because he cherished the law and their right to a fair trial. And it didn't prevent him from becoming our nation's first Vice President and second President.
So essentially you concede that a subset don't feel good about it. No need to bloviate. Bringing up a president from 220 years ago has absolutely no bearing on the way politics are ran in 2016.

People are also forgetting about the mistress(es) of FDR, the womanizing of Kennedy, the coarseness of LBJ, and again, we all know Bill Clinton's story.

I can't wait to see what comes out about Obama after he leaves office.

Now we have a corrupt, lying, back stabbing, sexual assault enabling, Democratic political hack running for POTUS.

Yet they call Trump all these horrible names and accuse him of anything they can think of at the last minute, and ignore everything else.

Talk about Hypocrisy.

The Dems have put on one of the most horribly negative campaigns in US history, yet we are supposed to believe everything they say as the pure gospel truth?

Yeah Right.

This is gonna backfire on Hillary big time. It's already starting.

Especially as more emails come out and people get tired of the bogus accusations against Trump and start finding out for real what a snake in the grass Hillary really is.

Now we are finding out (through those Podesta emails) the the polls the dems have been crowing about are rigged.

All this Trump stuff is a diversion from the Hillary camp to keep people from really finding out what's going on with Her, Bill, and the Clinton foundations shady dealings.

The next few weeks will be very damaging for Hillary, and Trump will win in a landslide.

Also? It's Trump himself who's making the "diversions" the center of his campaign. What else does he have? Answer: nothing. No understanding of how government works. No experience in government. No actual policy to offer. Terrible history as a businessman. The only thing left is for him to turn is campaign into a side show, although I must admit that he's doing a very fine job of that.
yeah but on the other hand we got.........................

Hillary.

America ain't stupid

Say goodbye to YOUR alternate reality.

its a CRIME to tamper with evidence, and per the victims lawyer, it was Clinton who had possession at the time when it was removed.

Clinton then said that the evidence she obtained was a pair of the accused’s underwear with a hole in it. Clinton told Reed that investigators had cut out a piece of the underwear and sent the sample to a crime lab to be tested, and the only evidence that remained was the underwear with a hole in it.
Clinton took the remaining evidence to a forensic expert in Brooklyn, New York, and the expert told her that the material on the underwear wasn’t enough to test. “He said, you know, ‘You can’t prove anything,'” Clinton recalled the expert telling her.
Clinton’s 1975 Rape Case

The part that was cut out was that way when Clinton received it.

Quote:
Before the case went to trial, state investigators lost crucial evidence, including portions of the defendant’s underwear that contained blood stains and semen. Clinton also found an expert witness in New York state that was willing to provide testimony that would cast doubt on the remaining blood and semen evidence available in the case.

Most people respect our Constitution but you Trumpers see fit to ignore it and trash it in favor of a slimy orange dictator setting up a fascist system white supremacists seem to desperately crave. Defending those who cannot afford counsel is a noble pursuit and you should be ashamed of yourself for wanting to deny those who can't afford a lawyer justice.

Amendment VI

Once again, it's not a constitutional matter. Go back and READ before going on a tirade. You are capable of doing better.

I also concede that there is an increasingly smaller subset who are misguided enough to think that Donald Trump would be a good president. Not sure what point you were trying to make but it was a swing and a miss.

Has anyone heard Michelle talk about the rape victim yet...I guess not.

What if it was her daughter? Maybe that makes a difference. ..
