  • M
  • Older than dirt (late 50's)
  • Catholic (recovering)
  • MBA
  • Parent to adult children / VP in Marketing Research / published author of books
  • Don't believe in abortion but feel a woman should have the right to choose
  • Pro legal immigration (second generation)
  • Pro rights for the LGBTQ community and support gay marriage
  • Anti illegal immigration
  • Anti taking Syrian refugees or allowing droves of Muslims into the country
  • Anti legalization of drugs; pro decriminalization of marijuana
  • Pro gun rights, but not a gun owner
  • Would like to see more manufacturing jobs here - college isn't for everybody
  • Anti H1B Visa's, it's being abused with Americans losing jobs
  • In favor of hefty fines for companies moving out of the country or off shoring jobs
  • In favor of term limits for all politicians
  • Would like to see police hiring be more selective, with more training, yearly psych exams, and external people not in government doing the investigations. Bad cops and those who protect them need to GO.
  • Would like to see the government give companies tax breaks for training low-income workers and those on welfare in a skill that will make them employable, if they have no such skills
  • Would like to see us stay out of everyone's business in the world, and take care of our poorer communities, schools and vets
  • Pro those who serve, but feel most war is unnecessary without a noble cause

NOTE: I'm not so much a Trump supporter, as I am against Hillary, but I'm all over the board with my politics. If there was another Democrat instead of Hillary, I might be pro that candidate, as I don't vote based on party.

Thinks it's been being sold out for years to special interests and know that needs to change or we as a nation are going to continue the downward spiral we've seen in motion for decades now.

Female
Born here (Pittsburgh Suburbs) (English/Irish/German decent)
Jones (tail end of baby boomer)
Nurse (took good care of everyone regardless of race, gender, age etc)
Successful small Business Owner with employees
Christian
Caregiver for elderly parent (hands full),
Support gay rights,
Not thrilled with abortion and wish people would take precautions instead of using abortion but believe in Roe vs Wade (they do it anyway)
Will vote for Trump - Hillary is a corrupt politician from days of old who will be bad for everyone

Family caregiver for elderly parent and I've learned that the safety net is horrible and does not help people who need help. Anyone who believes bigger government is the answer never experienced the nightmare of trying to get the elderly help. It's truly sad.

Trump- Jobs, jobs, jobs

Masters in psychology
semi-retired law enforcement
don't care about gay marriage
Abortion is a woman's right
fairly moderate across the board.
I want strong borders,
jobs for the millennials, not handouts Clinton and Obama promised
i want obama care gone
i want protected borders and I am not racist
I want fair trade, equal tariffs,
I don't want my tax dollar supporting every country out there
I support responsible gun owners and feel guns get a bad wrap from inner city crime and they blame it on bubba who is on a farm someplace.
I think the Clinton's are the biggest criminal duo in American history.
I would have no issue supporting a democrat, if they shared SOME of my ideologies
America first, no globalism, bring back our jobs,

I support Trump! And I do believe he will win. And I also believe that unless Obama pardons Hillary, she will go to prison.

Female
College educated
Gen X
Work in CRE Industry, previously in IT consulting/implementation
Mutt American (Polish, English, Scottish, German, Native American, French)
Married into Immigrant Family (Hubs is a Serb but pro HRC)

Leaning to Trump b/c:
-HRC is a Globalist
-Trump tougher stance on illegal immigration - I am pro-immigrant but believe USA should define who we let in. No open borders. Needs to be mutually beneficial and controlled/enforced.
-Very concerned the middle class is hollowing out. Globalism and mass immigration will fuel this trend.
-Very concerned about what is going on in Europe w/immigration. Too much, too fast, divergent cultures - it's a boiler ready to blow.
-Clinton Foundation pay-to-play (Hard to trust HRC)

For me this election is about policy, not Trump's crass personality. While I lean left on many policies, the above are just more important to me at this time.
