How deliberate, and how stupid do they think America is?

Hombre means MAN!!! Nothing More, nothing less!!!!

Matter of fact, there was a movie made Entitled Hombre, with Paul Newman?????

It is so obvious, what the media is trying to pull.....
Why did Donald Trump use the term "hombre"? I know it means "man" in Spanish. But why did he use the Spanish term for "man"?

Here's the thing. Whether you find it offensive or not, PC, thin skinned, stupid, whatever word you want to use, it doesn't really matter what you or I think.

Trump's biggest challenge, especially in the last debate was to make the tent bigger. He's already got his base support locked. Nothing will change that. The goal is to take some of the undecided, or independents and show them in. By using language that could potentially alienate some voters (valid or not) he's cutting his nose off to spite his face. If 1% of undecided voters found it offensive for whatever their reason is, that's potentially hundreds of thousands of votes that he won't get.

It would have been so much easier to say "We have so many good immigrants here, but we have a small portion that are bad *pick a generic word* people, actors, individuals, and insert it instead of a word that potentially singles out one ethnic group.

Regardless of my personal leanings, I think Hillary was the most defeatable Democratic nominee possible. The entire Trump campaign is an object lesson on missed opportunities and self immolation.

Oh, thanks - Edith was kind, warm-hearted, neighborly, compassionate and caring, even to her lout of a husband. She had a very positive world-view.

Don't forget the little zingers which she often provided, quite innocently, which completely deflated Archie's pomposity. Edith was a very smart cookie...

Aside: I miss "All in the Family", and am thankful for the reruns still available. Sit-coms were way better back then

All the cowboy movies we grew up with used the term hombre and it became part of the language with no negative connotation.

today the word 'choclate' or 'trump', conjures images of racism and hate.

Our words and language are being stolen to gain power.

Many mexicans tweeting on free devices handed out by the dems and paid for their tweets. Otherwise the complaintants need immediate help for pathological hypersensitivity.

No one is offending anyone.

I personally hate when someone says your amigos, it shows a disconnect with the Latin community it's not a big deal and yes people are going to make it out to be worse than what it was, but it's bad politics if you are courting that voting block, he keeps doing stuff that doesnt help his cause assuming that is to build a voting coalition that will get him elected. Why? he could have used a dozen other words with 0 outrage manufactured or not.

Only a moron cannot see that the news media is solidly backing Clinton while attacking Trump with all they can muster.

This PC BS is exactly that, BS and nothing more. If you are offended by a word you need to grow up.

So he used an appropriate Spanish word for man but not the main word used for man? Because he is white it's racist but if he was Hispanic that would be ok. Sort of like using the N word if your not of the tribe...

Got it membership has it's privileges.....
