Farrakhan has been the center of much controversy, and critics have, among other things, said that some of his views and comments have been racist, homophobic, and antisemitic.
OF COURSE a guy like that would love Obama. Muslims who work together, ruin America together!!!
Best friends 4 ever!!

Here is another one...

What would HE say if he saw American blacks becoming hateful ant-Semite, bigots like Luois Farrakhan and seeing "pastors" like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson stealing from companies to live lavish lifestyles, impregnating women all over the place, and deceiving the black communities to enrich themselves?
Quote from the racist Jesse Jackson:
Jackson has been criticized for some of the remarks he has made about Jews and Jewish issues. Most infamously, Jackson referred to Jews as "Hymies" and to New York City as "Hymietown" in January 1984 during a conversation with Washington Post reporter Milton Coleman. Jackson at first denied the remarks, then accused Jews of conspiring to defeat him. The Nation of Islam's leader Louis Farrakhan, threatened Coleman in a radio broadcast and issuing a public warning to Jews, made in Jackson's presence: "If you harm this brother [Jackson], it will be the last one you harm."

Quotes from the extemely racist, anti-American Farrakahan:
"Black Hitler" and the March 1984 speech
During the 1984 presidential campaign of Jesse Jackson, Jackson referred to New York City as "Hymietown" in a discussion with a black reporter. Though Jackson thought he was speaking off the record, the reporter printed the quote. Jackson was widely criticized for the slur and received death threats, leading Farrakhan to announce "If you harm this brother, it'll be the last one you ever harm. If you want to defeat him, defeat him at the polls."
In response to Farrakhan's speech, Nathan Pearlmutter, then Chair of the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith (ADL) referred to Minister Farrakhan as the new "Black Hitler" and prominent Jewish journalist Nat Hentoff, while a guest on a New York radio talk-show, also characterized the Muslim leader as a "Black Hitler."
Jewish distributors
Farrakhan alleges that Jewish distributors blocked his plans for Nation of Islam cosmetics and toiletries sold under the Clean & Fresh label. Major black-hair-care companies, including Johnson Products Co. refused to do business with Farrakhan's Nation of Islam products. Company owner George E. Johnson maintained that his dealers told him that any dealings with Farrakhan's firm would lead to having his own products boycotted. "When I saw that," Farrakhan says, "I recognized that the black man will never be free until we address the relationship between blacks and Jews."
Wicked and false Jews"
At an NOI-sponsored event in February 2006, Farrakhan provoked accusations of antisemitism in Illinois by stating that "These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood. It's the wicked Jews, the false Jews that are promoting lesbianism, homosexuality, [and] Zionists have manipulated Bush and the American government [on the war in Iraq]"
Gays and Homosexuals
In his speech in Boston in August 1997, Farrakhan made the following statement about homosexuals: It seems like being gay or whatever sin you wish to be a part of is okay ... but I have the duty to lift that gay person up to the standard to ask if they want to live the life that God wants them to or live the lifestyle that they want to live."
Race
Farrakhan made several controversial statements about race, including "White people are potential humans — they haven't evolved yet" in March 2000, [29] and "Murder and lying comes easy for white people" in 1994. [34]Yacub" (or "Jacob") with reference to whites. According to Farrakhan's mentor, Elijah Muhammad, blacks were "born righteous and turned to unrighteousness," while the white race was "made unrighteous by the god who made them (Mr. Yacub)." He has also alluded to a figure called "

Big deal.
Ron Paul received support and money from Stormfront's Don Black, probably the most prominent bigot in this country today. To link Black with Paul would certainly draw the ire of Paul supporters, and appropriately so.
If you decide who to support from their following, it is a poor reflection upon your ability to discern the critical campaign issues.

I think if Obama gets elected we will see Farrakhan visit the White House
Farrakhan has said he is fine to be "in the background" as far as Obama's run is going on

Well if that's the case, I think you and all of the rest of the good bible-believers should get out and vote for Obama, to prove the Bible right and bring about the end of days that Christians have been awaiting for so long.
Praise Jesus.

Boy, the Bush administration sure has filled people with a lot of fear! The End is Near! Prepare yourselves! We're Doomed! Good Grief. I am more frightened of another 4 years that in any way, shape, or form resembles the leadership of the last 8 than anything else.
There will always be people on the "fringe" of everything. Most of us who support Barack Obama for President are pretty normal, trust me. Gee, breathe, callm down, it's ok, really...

So, you don't think he had the power to either call Farrakhan himself and tell him not to speak on his behalf or, at least, have his pastor Jeremiah Wright (a friend of Farrakhan) make the call for him? What would be the worst that could happen? Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam denouncing Obama? That would be a POSITIVE thing.
Sheesh, if he's that frightened of standing up to Farrakhan, how on Earth is he strong enough to be the POTUS?
