Poll: Is Barack Hussein Obama a Demagogue?
Definition:
A leader who makes use of popular prejudices and false claims and promises in order to gain power.
You decide: Is he a Demagogue? Why and why not?

Obama has not run a campaign of 'throw the whites out" or "Democrats arise and throw off your chians!' or "You're being held back by [them]!" So, no, he is not a demagogue.
The GOP just is angry that his message has traction.

Yes, Obama is a demagogue.
Obama uses peoples' prejudices against corporations to garner support for his positions. He makes false claims that new federal restrictions are going to help the economy. He attacks special interest groups, while advocating policies that are influenced heavily by special interests.
To be fair, I can't think of a Presidential candidate who doesn't qualify as a "Demagogue".

These polls are really dumb! I'm not an Obama supporter, nor a democrat for that matter, but this sounds so childish. JohnnyRockets, no offense to you personally, but can you please put something on here that has meaning?

If it is after the election, then Americans will suffer for being gullible and stupid for believing the media.

Obama is a Jesse Jackson, in many ways. Except he is pick pocketing naive people and not companies and the government.

With you being a conservative Republican JR, it's surprising that you think it's the President's job to "fix the economy", "fix $3/gallon gas", and "help the mortgage crisis". The only thing that needs fixing is the Attorney General, TODAY, needs to crack down on fraudulent lenders and make this whole "mortgage backed securities" market more transparent and accountable. Why wait until there is a new president? Congress could do it today. Bush could do it today. Instead we all get $300 in hush money. The $3/gallon gas is the American people's fault. In fact, gas taxes need to be raised to make it even higher, to help rebuild all our crumbling bridges, roads, and build more mass transit.
If that's demagoguery, where do I sign?

Why must you keep saying Hussein? Even going so far as omitting his last name?
Why just Barack Hussein, like that is his last name?
