It is as I have said before: if the Democrats rigged past elections, they are doing a very poor job of it. Let us again review he current situation:

US Senate: 54 seats held by Republicans.
US House: Republicans hold 247 seats to Democrats 188.
Governors: 36 out of 50 held by Republicans
State legislative chambers: 68 out of 98 held by Republicans.

One would think that if, for instance, the Democrats 'rigged' the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, someone would have said "Hey, instead of just rigging it for Obama, maybe we should do some down-ticket rigging".

To which someone said, "No, we just want to have split ballots, with Obama on top, Republicans below".
