The most used excuse will be that the voters lied. Not that the polls used Democrats to make the polls lean a certain way.

Just like Gallop the polls will mostly be history and the media will be labeled gutter gossip.

Is this like, "If I win the $500MM Powerball, should I buy Tesla?"

Don't worry about it.

So ..... as a matter of curiosity
Who believes a Polls that makes an attempt to get the sample correct on Dem/GOP and then Undersamples the Independents at 17 %?

It's really, really easy to manipulate numbers.
The ONLY "Poll" that counts is the one we get on November 8th.

The worst thing that Trump does is his own internal polling and it comes up with the same results as the polls he claims are rigged.

He is knowingly lying to his supporters--making fools of the ones who believe him.

He is pretty low-class.

"...Despite Trump’s claim that he doesn’t believe the polls, his San Antonio research team spends $100,000 a week on surveys (apart from polls commissioned out of Trump Tower) and has sophisticated models that run daily simulations of the election. The results mirror those of the more reliable public forecasters—in other words, Trump’s staff knows he’s losing. Badly..
."

“Nate Silver’s results have been similar to ours”...

I don't trust any polls, even when they favor my cause/candidate. That said, if it can be proved (maybe with leaked emails) that some polls are intentionally being falsified to effect voter turnout, then those people should be prosecuted.

Democrats love to make up crap like Republicans are suppressing black people voting because of voter ID laws, yet we now have evidence they themselves engage in all sorts of dirty tricks like voter suppression strategy.
Normally when people make absurd accusations against others, it is because they themselves do it, so they assume everyone else does as well.

Good mechanics don't blame their wrenches.

Every wrench, no matter how good, can still break unexpectedly once in a while.

The failure of the wrench says nothing about the mechanic's skill using it. The mechanic's skill depends on not breaking his wrenches. Sometimes skills are momentarily abandoned. Sometimes good wrenches are ready to break.

Believing both happen all the time is foolish.

The same can be said about polls.
