I am happy to announce that on this day, four years ago, in the national polling average, Obama was up by 0.8 points over Romney. However, today, Clinton is up by 4.6 points! That's a margin of 5.75 times of what Obama's lead was!

What do you think of this analysis?

What do I think? I think it means nothing after yesterday's development. It's also different in the sense that Clinton's lead was already falling. I'm much more scared about a potential Trump presidency than I was before yesterday's news.

meaningless analysis. Obama was starting an upward trend, HRC the reverse. HRC is at (rcp) +3.8% btw,, as it is a 4 way race, and you cherry picked the 2 way number-which is also meaningless.

You can not reverse 5% in 10 days. Too little too late.

I agree with your analysis. Trump will gain points in the days to come, partly because he was trending up, partly due to Weinergate II.

Well Bob, I don't necessarily agree simply because we don't know what new news may come out that may harm either candidate in the days to come. With these candidates, it wouldn't be surprising.

How in the world did we end up with these two?!?

Me too. I believe yesterday's FBI revelations will energize the anti-Trump voters by bringing to light that there's a very real possibility he could back into the presidency if we do not get out the vote against him.

It doesn't mean a darn thing as she is not Obama.

She has a crooked 30 year political past known even before wikileaks and ProjectVeritas.

Too late DNC, you should've not screwed over Sanders like you did.

Now you have this too in a separate thread: "Assange Steps Forward To Deliver Final Blow To The Clinton Campaign"

Nothing will overshadow this. Biggest October surprise in decades.
