Why are you still watching cable TV "news"?

The ones of us who figured out in 2015 that Trump would win this had long since stopped listening to those idiots.

The beliefs of people who don't vote are completely irrelevant. If they can't get out and vote, then they are meaningless, opinion-wise. It is a new red dawn, people who care enough to get out to vote made their voices heard. (And before someone says look at the popular vote, that is just as meaningless as the opinions of those who dont vote. If the popular vote decided the election, the Trump would've campaigned entirely different).

Are you kidding.

Those countries hold elections based on the Westminister system. Do you even know what that means?

There is no direct election of the Prime Minister.

Furthermore the UK is a Constitutional Monarchy. There are people there in government, including the Queen & Church, who hold power based on birthright and not the will of the people.

The dems should have realized that the "Middle Class" doesn't just apply to college educated and Entrepreneurship which is most prominent in urban centers.

When you have a large portion of the voting base living in areas that their parents before them could work in industries that didn't require 4 years of college and still obtain the American Dream of home ownership, raising a family and enjoying the basics in life compared to them now working in low paying Walmarts and other service/retail industry jobs you can see how upset they are.

Yes it would be a monumental task of returning to the days of a high school grad at the age of 18 getting a job on a factory floor, but hearing the Dems rhetoric of needing to "Educate" the work force for the "New Economy" only works for "Their" view on what the middle class is.

Check out voter participation in other countries.
US is ranked near the bottom.

Is that a sign of a healthy democracy, or a sick one?

Nope.
I figured you didn't know anything.

Ireland is not part of the UK.
In Ireland, only the people by national referenda can change it's Constitution.
Governments are normally coalitions between parties, representing a wider group of citizens.

In the UK, everybody knows who the current leader of the party is when heading to the polls.
The Prime Minsister, is not like a US President and cannot make 'executive orders' and rule by decree.
