Why did Obama people release that Kenya photo?
Cuz they thought his skinny butt looked cute in that get-up? The hat makes him look like Johnny Quest's side kick. What was his name? Haji? Something like that?

At least he's been outside of the country. I wanted to know in 2000 how Bush managed to attend an Ivy League college and never make it across the border to Canada during a drunken stupor.

You are mistaken, it appears it was the Clinton campaign that sent the photo to different media outlets. Dirty tricks, Clinton style.

So, at this point, ANYTHING is conjecture. Hence, my thread. Btw, Mike Allen was on CNN identified as an Obama supporter.

Then why are you claiming the Obama campaign released it?
The Clinton campaign will neither confirm or deny it. In other words, guilty as charged.
From Talking Points Memo
Quote:
We spent the better part of the morning trying to get some comment from the Clinton campaign. For the first hour or more we couldn't get anything. Then we got this statement in which the Clinton camp says Obama should be "ashamed" at saying the picture is "divisive," without addressing one way or another what they're accused of doing.
Here's the text ...Enough. If Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed. Hillary Clinton has worn the traditional clothing of countries she has visited and had those photos published widely.
This is nothing more than an obvious and transparent attempt to distract from the serious issues confronting our country today and to attempt to create the very divisions they claim to decry.
We will not be distracted.
Put it all together and the Clinton camp would appear to be unwilling to make even the most perfunctory denial that they are or were circulating this photo around.

[quote=Upton;2944890]Then why are you claiming the Obama campaign released it?
Because on CNN they said they also heard reports that Obama people released it to create controversy. So, this is on the same level as those saying Hillary's campaign released it. Tit for tat, so to speak.

I don't get the big controversy. Sure he looks like an idiot in the pic. Bush dances with swords. So what? Should Obama have said Hell no, I'm not putting on that ridiculus garb?
