We don't have a ton of yard signs in my 'hood. I've seen only a few of both. Personally, I'd never advertise my political leanings.
Trump's fan base has proven themselves unhinged.
You beat me to it. I posted in 2008 when someone came to the door with a shotgun as I was canvasing for Obama and another volunteer was run off the road because of all her bumper stickers. Lawn signs don't count. The only thing that counts is your ballot.
People have also been destroying Trump signs, so it's not only Trump supporters who have gone off the deep end. I was just in a very conservative area of FL for a few months and saw mostly Trump signs and now I'm in a very conservative area of rural Western NC. So I keep my mouth shut (except when I'm posting! lol)
You realize that there are dozens of videos out there showing Hillary supporters stealing signs, assaulting people for wearing Trump propaganda, destroying property, and even one where numerous men assaulted a homeless lady for trying to protect the new hollywood star that replaced the one destroyed by a Hillary supporter?
And, that somehow negates Trump fans' crazy behavior?
I'm sorry, but I've seen enough of his fans' antics to not advertise my Hillary support.
I've seen one Trump sign in my neighborhood, and in all honesty I expected to see more since it's a notoriously republican neighborhood in a very democratic state (well half of it). I've seen several Hillary car window stickers, a couple Trump sweatshirts...
What I've see the most of though, are the joke ones. "IDK not Trump tho." or "Nuclear Bomb 2016", most people wanted Bernie or another Repub candidate, a lot of people just aren't voting this year, or not saying who they are voting for because they hate them both. No enthusiasm at all.
