I keep hearing that Donald Trump is doing well in certain parts of the country because of free trade and he's doing well with some Republicans because of immigration.

The reality is, free trade has benefited American workers by driving up wages in jobs related to exports. 42 million American jobs are supported by free trade. Furthermore, studies have shown that anywhere from 80,000-500,000 manufacturing jobs ARE available in the United States, but go unfilled - proving we have a skills gap. The cost of televisions and computers have fallen more than 70% since 2000 thanks to free trade. These aren't just talking points, they are real people who have employment and higher wages thanks to free trade.

Despite Donald Trump's rheoric on immigration, illegal border crossings are down because President George W. Bush doubled border-patrol agents. Rounding up 12 million people would violate the 4th amendment rights of legal U.S. citizens while putting us deeper into debt. The fact is, those who legally come to our country start businesses and help bring innovation to a variety of fields, including the pharmaceutical industry and the sciences.

If you are voting for Trump because of trade, please know that he's lying to you. Free trade benefits American workers. Also, please know that Donald Trump buys cheap Chinese steel.

If you are voting for Trump because of immigration, it's worth noting that he's hired illegal immigrants and his plans will do nothing but drive up debt and violate the constitution. Furthermore, let me be blunt: many of those who are voting for Trump because of immigration aren't doing so because they actually know any immigrants, it's because they fear the unknown. Be rational.

Hopefully, you join me in supporting Gary Johnson and Bill Weld who aren't perfect, but better than the two corrupt progressives the GOP and Democrats have nominated.

What this election is about: When and Why Nationalism Beats Globalism - The American Interest and Trump vs. Hillary Is Nationalism vs. Globalism, 2016 | The National Interest

Frankly, at this point, I would think that many are supporting Trump because of the horror show the Democratic Party has been bombarding us with! See that is the "thing", if 50% of the negatives people preach on about Trump were true, and they aren't, Trump is still at least 200% better than Clinton - remember this is a race between two people. Lesser of the evils? For some but at least no one has died because of Trump's incompetency.

He has no answer for anything. He will repeal Obamacare but has no answer as to what he will replace it with. He says he will build a wall and have Mexico pay for it, it will never happen. As far as trade all his supporters are busy at Walmart buying cheap junk made in China or elsewhere. The corporations have been leaving, that's his people the big money people and the rich who get richer while the poor get poorer. At least Hillary will start to tax the rich a little more fairly so they pay their fair share, unlike Donald who will milk the system and lose money so he can write it off by not paying taxes. If he can write off a little less than billion in almost 20 years he is not making that much money if he's not paying taxes, and what is he hiding that he won't release his tax returns.

ObamaCareNot is breaking the taxpayer bank, and that must be stopped!

Mexico will pay for the Wall as their goods come into our country. Pay for passage or let your veggies rot in the hot sun!

Actually, at this time, which I call "welfare weekend", Hillary's supporters are in Wal-Marts blowing their checks, and here, they have 5 or 6 anchor babies in the group! Wal-Mart has put most other businesses out of business. Where do you buy your things from? Your microwave? Your television? Your computer?

The poor are getting poorer? I don't think that is what Obama is saying. Poverty is a major industry at a time when we have little else here other than the prison industry (big donor for the Cilntons) and big pharma (another big donor of the Clintons). You might want to do some research in this area. Rich people make money off of poverty and have no intention of ending it.

You might take a look at how economics work, the poverty industry and how both the prison industry and big pharma have paid it forward to Clinton. An informed voter is always nice.
