Because this non-issue is affecting the election, raising false, and now declared false, suspicions that are biased in favor of rightists and to the detriment of leftists. Think about that: Baseless suspicions that cause lack of confidence in the candidate WHEN THE CANDIDATE COMMITTED NO CRIME. It turns elections into a mud wrestling match - it doesn't matter whether any of the mud is accurate. All that matters is how readily you can use the mud to dupe weak-minded sycophants into believing the worst about your opponent. That's what happens in banana republics. Is that what you want the United States to be?
The FBI has re-determined that no Clinton committed criminal wrongdoing, however the damage has already been done. It's an injustice. We won't have justice this year. Hopefully it won't change the result of the POTUS election, but something has to be done about this injustice that was committed in the interest of Trump and his supporters.

You also did not address the credibility of the source, Erik Prince, who is under investigation for multiple crimes involving the Chinese government, Libya and Iraq. Why would a criminal under investigation by the DOJ be told anything by the NYPD? I know Breitbart will use anyone as a source, but this does not even make sense.
