You're not "left" if you're voting for Johnson. He occupies the space "above" left/centre/right in the area known as "you're on your own". Nothing the Libertarians espouse would satisfy any left leaning voter.

You're certainly "left" if you're voting for Johnson. You can be left and vote for anybody really. In fact, you can be left and not even vote.

I am Independent who has voted in the last 11 years to vote mostly for Republicans. Habe voted since 18 for Republican Presidents. Registered as a Democrat to vote in April in my States Primary for Senator Sanders. Re-registered as Other Party (Libertarian) and voting for Johnson/Weld.

The Libertarians have wasted their opportunity in this election by nominating Johnson & tolerating his choice of Bill Weld as VP. Johnson is completely inarticulate & Weld is your typical northeastern liberal Republican. I'm going to vote for Johnson so that the Libertarian Party hits the 5% threshold for 2020. If they can't do anything next time around, I'm done voting for them. This was a huge missed opportunity. I may feel differently if I lived in a swing state, but I doubt it.

That is because even he realizes Johnson is about as qualified to run this country as Gary Busey. I've never seen any candidate as ill informed as Johnson. He actually makes Donald Trump look worldly !

I'll take Hilary over Trump but not by enough to vote for her. So I'll vote for Johnson. I'd like to see the libertarian party make a decent showing even though Johnson is not a very good candidate.
