So, the Russians have admitted that they have had agents trolling Facebook, Twitter, and any other internet site they can access in order to disrupt America's 2016 Presidential election. They are enjoying sewing seeds of discord among our citizens. They don't really care who wins the U.S. Presidency; they just want our democratic process to be damaged.

They've been pretty successful, don't you think?

Ever since I saw two of the Russians who have been having fun trolling various sites hoping to damage our country interviewed by Samantha Bee, I've been thinking about this forum and wondering which of you posters is a Russian troll. I'm betting many of the threads and a large number of the posts on this Elections sub-forum have been written by Russian trolls.

Will you come out and admit who you are after the Presidential election has been held? Or will you keep messing around in the Politics forum just for the fun of pitting us against one another?

Russian? I don't know. However, it makes sense to assume everyone who's Join Date is October 2016 or November 2016 is potentially suspect. How many of them are second and third accounts?

It's possible. There are so many spelling and grammatical mistakes here by right posters.

From "bushes fault" to "russia's fault". Translation....always someone else fault, not "ours". And perhaps the thread title should also be....."how many of the posts written here were funded by a hil superpac?"

So it's old news people. The hil team seems to have this game down quite a while ago:

Clinton SuperPac Admits to Paying Internet Trolls

Similar to what JG posted above with a few more details.

Adjust your join date dates. See above url.

Remember, when all else fails.....it's russia's fault......it's russia's fault.....and the world was then right with team hilbot.....

You caught me! Yes, I must confess, I am a Russian troll. Putin pays me 100 Rubles for every pro-Hillary post. He told me he wants her to win because he think she will be easier to defeat in war. He says he doesn't trust Trump with the nuclear codes and says if Trump wins, he will be forced to reverse his order to his military to antagonize US forces. He also said that Hillary will be much easier to manipulate and steal classified information from. Besides, I also get a free case of vodka if Trump wins. Nazdovi!

Hard to tell since there's also many American idiot Trumpers who live off welfare and have no friends and time to post all day. I think we'd all be surprised by how many of these Russian trolls there are since it explains why right wing white trash nut jobs outnumber normal people 2 to 1 on Twitter, YouTube, Yahoo and here.

I read your link and it's a comment about a story in the Daily Beast. Here's the story. Where does it talk about "Internet Trolls?" It's saying that the SuperPac was responding to swarms of misleading tweets and rumors posted on social media during the primaries. However, that's very old news.

I wish someone would pay me for all my posts!! At an average of 3 or 4 a day, they'd have to pay me a lot per post, however.

LMAO, thread of the week.

I think the Russian trolls spend most of the time trying to make some hashtags trending like I saw one this week about indicting Hillary and Melania Trump was also trending. I thought that looked fake because they were trending higher than the Cubs winning the World Series and I know that's impossible.

I have also seen fake Twitter profiles.

Worried about so-called enemy Russia but not worried about the crooks within our own government that are clearly above the law. This is rich.
