GOP strategist: Clinton will win -- but Congress won't work with her - CNNPolitics.com

"Unfortunately, instead of seeing this as an opportunity for Republicans to do a little self-introspection, a chance to look beyond ourselves, and to rise to the moment -- which would help us grow nationally," said Weaver, "the instinct will be to throw landmines, not to govern and to cause problems above and beyond being just the normal loyal opposition ideologically."
This is exactly why are country is so gridlocked. They'll never learn it appears.

What the American public needs to realize that the Republicans are against the government when it's not run by one of their own and they need to be ousted from local, state and federal power.

What democrats and liberals need to realize that contrary to what they wish for, they don't have a monopoly in our government. That's why we have 3 branches to balance power. When you have 50 blue states, then you can moan and complain about it. Until then, realize you don't live in a dictatorship.

Possible solution: term limits.

Last time Democrats had the executive and both houses of Congress, America didn't like it and it resulted in the Tea Party "revolution" of 2010.

You don't just knee-jerk a no and table something because somebody from the opposite side of the aisle proposes it. They've been obstructing for too long.

It is so tiring of them to always put their party and Political Agenda's first, and America second.
Not very honest and not very Patriotic.
They need to be voted out.

If I didn't do my job, I would be fired....they need to be fired.

This is why they need to be voted out WHOLESALE, without consideration. They've gotten arrogant to the point where they're actually saying that if the electorate chooses the candidate they don't like, they're going to make that choice moot.

And they're making that threat even before the choice is made.

...Then what's the point of democracy? Maybe we should just do what they say, or they're going to make it hard on us.

If U.S. people were smart, they would be insulted by the way the repugs are conducting themselves (and have conducted themselves for a generation now).

The repugs insult the basic dignity of the american people. Yet somehow, there's no backlash. Something's wrong with that.

& This election season makes it clear: they're undermining the democratic system itself.

I hope people won't reward this kind of bullying and cynicism. Vote AGAINST the republicans aaaall down the line, from president to down-ballot.
