Uh no, they block legislation that they don't agree with. It's their job to do that and the reason they were voted in. If their constituents don't like it, they can be voted out. It's called a Republic.

With all due respect to the GOP strategist, I think they will be more willing to work with her than Trump. Much of the GOP hates Trump and have already said they would work with Hillary. She's a congressional vet--it's not like she is new to this. She understands better than anyone how this works. I think she understands it better than Obama and is willing to cross the aisle more diplomatically than Obama has done.

If the Democrats don't change their anti America policy's it will lead to something worse than dysfunctional government. They need to realize that globalism is going to get resistance by those who want to remain Americans.

The GOP will have to decide who they are after the election if they lose and if they try to go back to the same old crap as before they are done as a serious party in presidential elections. Failure to adopt the American first policy's will destroy them.

What's new? They've done the same thing to Obama. Republicans don't believe in democracy and governing unless they win. They couldn't care less about the will of the people.

Well, you know the last time the GOP was in power (both the executive and legislative branches) we got 2 wars, a trillion dollar deficit and a major financial meltdown.

Good times...

If she wins the White House, I think the GOP will need to do so serious soul searching. Their inability to work with a sitting President gave Trump the nomination.

GOP strategist: Clinton will win -- but Congress won't work with her - CNNPolitics.com

"Unfortunately, instead of seeing this as an opportunity for Republicans to do a little self-introspection, a chance to look beyond ourselves, and to rise to the moment -- which would help us grow nationally," said Weaver, "the instinct will be to throw landmines, not to govern and to cause problems above and beyond being just the normal loyal opposition ideologically."
That's not exactly a shocker. I would not have expected anything less from our destructive friends on the Far Right. It's not all bad. We are in a way better place economically than we were back in 2008 - sure it could be better with some smart legislation, but we will be OK even if they obstruct everything. In the end it's just going to further splinter the GOP, and that's actually the worst part - having a power vacuum on the Right does not bode well for the future balance of power and could lead to instability.

LOL! It's the will of the people that voted them in to represent them. What part of that don't you get? A President does not, isn't suppose to, and never has had the power to push through their political agenda without the support of Congress. Congress makes laws, not the President. This isn't anything new.
