People are surprised by this election because the MEDIA was incessantly anti-Trump. If you are told over and over that Trump is a bad person and he's gonna lose and then it's this close then of course you're gonna be surprised.

Ok, now let's see if he can make all those jobs of yester-year reappear for the non college-educated.

I don't have a problem with blue collar peolle; I have a problem with racists and bigots.

I am not a Trump fan at all and I place the blame mostly on a Liberal Elitist media that has became detached from reality and openly mocks half the American population. Just because someone only has a HS degree doesn't mean their "uneducated". Just because someone supports legal immigration but is against citizenship for people who cut in line and broke the law doesn't mean they are racist.

I don't think this was a vote against JUST democrats. For decades, politicians on both sides of the aisle have been convincing people that these trade deals will actually create jobs in America. I have always wondered how people keep falling for it. I think they FINALLY just stopped falling for it.

Trump's third wife cut in line. She worked illegally. Will he address that? Of course not. And if you're uneducated, go to school! We did! Democrats believe in education. Why are we supposed to support Republicans that don't want to go to school and get an education?!

Also, they underestimated women's judgment. I bet there are a few women voting against the would-be-first-woman-president.
