The darling pollster of the left said.
  • Said that Trump would not be nominated
  • Said that Trump had no real chance of being elected as President.
He's eating crow today.

He's eating crow today along with all those who harped on about Trump having no path to 270. The rest of us knew better.

Except that he's not a pollster...he crunches the numbers on other peoples polls.

It's the actual pollsters who are in deep trouble, Silver still has his sports stats to fall back on.

Even worse then.

His "science" has been proved to be no better than mediums making predictions by reading chicken entrails.

If he made formal proclaimations in public as Waldokitty has stated above - then he is by all accounts a prognosticator. And a terrible one.

Some here have written in his defense that his projected ending numbers weren't " far off."

What those who come to his defense fail to consider is --- where was his starting point and where did he end up? The margin between his beginning and ending is HUGE. And when you're in a position where you can constantly revise both up and down.... you're bound to get close at the end.

Nate Silver is one term wonder who rode Obama's coattail's to a little fame. That's it.

Yep, Silver was wrong in his aggregates but his numbers are only as good as the information provided by the polls. Silver doesn't do any polls himself.
