People in Denmark, Sweden etc. haven`t run out of money. In fact they`re a lot happier than we are. They tax the sh*t out of people but their needs are taken care of. They don`t hand out wads of money to people who refuse to work.

But they also have way smaller populations than the United States. Basically, that's what socialism is. There is no ranking system. Its punishing people who have worked hard to have what they do in life, to support the people with Mcdonald's jobs, not fair.

Why would the size of the population make any difference? Quasi socialistic Costa Rica is the only Central American country that people are trying to get into, not out of. No Costa Rican wants to move to Guatemala or the U.S.

Good, we don't need any more illegals here. But why punish the rich for being successful and reward the people of lower class? The rich worked hard, they should be rewarded, not punished. And free college, the citizens would pay for it. And money runs out. Socialism is popular among millennials (I am a millennial and I can't stand it), but people in Generation X and Baby Boomers, My parents and grandparents age, all would not go for socialism, and they are the majority voting block, everyone who I talked to in those two older generations strongly despised socialism. Good luck getting it passed.

Bernie is a socialist nut.
His ideas of free college for all, $15 minimum wage were terrific ideas until someone else's money runs out..
In other words OUR tax money.

PREACH! The people my age only like it cause of the free stuff. But my parents(In their 40's), and both sets of my grandparents (In their 60's and 70's) Both strongly despise it because they know what that free stuff means in the long run. And when you have majority my parent's and grandparent's generation as the voting block, it won't happen.

It's not free. It would be subsidized by our tax dollars, just like public education, our libraries, police force, firefighters, national security/military. All things that our parents and grandparents have taken for granted.

Plus "free tuition" is not "free college".

I think there are many argument to be made about Sander's platform, but some of you guys make all the wrong ones in my opinion, and they're often hypocritical and misleading.

Right, our tax dollars. Where do we go when we run out of money? It isn't free cause we all pay for it. Socialism is a stepping stone to communism.

Everyone should have healthcare...

Everyone should have an education...

Everyone should be paid a wage they can live on...

So, the solution is that the rich should pay much higher taxes to help the less fortunate. If that makes me a socialist, then so be it.

I don't know if you know this, but we won't run out of currency. I've watched it get printed.

The United States required universal education in the 1900's. I would argue that had we not done so, we certainly would not be the powerful military and economic imperial power we are today. If we want to take a step back from communism then I supposed would there are a lot of institutions we'll have to eliminate to accomplish that.
