They're right, you know. Those weren't the only reasons why Clinton lost (low turnout from Democrats was another reason), but they were major reasons nonetheless. And really, "white working-class people" from the rust belt and elsewhere cannot speak for me. I didn't and wouldn't have voted for a reality tv star with no political experience. They did, and it's all on them.

The NYT probably did more to elect Trump than any other publication. The bigotry, intolerance, and contempt that they hold for their fellow citizens elected Trump, handed the GOP continued control of Congress (not to mention 33 of 50 governorships) and will make it increasingly difficult to effect political change for the foreseeable future.
