Centralized mass media might not effect your vote but it effects other peoples vote. We need to break up centralized oligarchy media outlets. Cable TV either has to allow any news network / channel on to the list or not be allowed to provide news channels at all.

Luckily other options are becoming available. Streaming is picking up steam and replacing cable TV. Facebook & Twitter have also become outlets for others to promote different agendas & ideas. I think the millennials realize this but it's the older generations who are content with cable TV.
