The night after the election my neighborhood (community actually) had more than 50 cars broken into. Now we've been having problems but instead of the professional break-ins we've had, these punks used a crow bar to pry open doors and smash windows. The next night they set off an alarm at 3 am. The homeowners came out and held 2 while 3 escaped in a stolen vehicle. SAPD sent their helicopter to search. I'm going to guess the husband and wife had a weapon as the criminals did have a gun. I know I wouldn't have gone out without one of mine. They got the plate number for the car and the police found the other 3 across town breaking into a jewelry store.

The professional break-ins seemed to fall off after a homeowner was interviewed on the news and pointed out she and most of her neighbors were armed. In fact a few years ago a car thief out here was killed by a homeowner. This area is in the city limits because SA is annex happy but is essentially a suburb. A Texas suburb... Sadly some of the "disenfranchised" kids at his predominently affluent (middle class and up) high school planned to attend a anti-Trump protest at the Alamo. He's on the edge of millennial and Gen Y and is trying to believe Gen Y will have it together more. He was the one trying to convince me Trump would win on Election Day.

Maybe because the older white males in the burbs have guns and will defend their property.

This was at a Trump Rally before the election. My daughter lives in the area and saw it. Long Island is a suburb.

If rioters came to my suburb they probably be shot. On my street alone all 25 home owners own multiple firearms. We get together twice a month for target practice in the gravel pit at the end of the road. The local cops often stop in and join us. This is a good neighborhood. We even got a minority living here. She was a mail order bride.

You just don't hear about small cities in national media.
So are they getting on their yachts and yelling into the wind about refusing to take tax breaks because it was President Donald J. Trump's idea? Or is it the drivers, butlers, and maids class protesting?

There's a good reason I didn't put that Proud Deplorable bumper sticker on my car!

Give the immature a little time to get over their temper tantrum.

I didn't know there were "liberal cities". I know there's a place called Liberal, Kansas. Is that what you claim is being destroyed?

Oops, that should say my son's high school with the rich "disenfranchised" kids.
