View Poll Results: Does Clinton's Popular Vote Victory Reduce Trump's Mandate?
YES. Trump's vote count is too low to be a mandate for sweeping change. 70 27.89%
NO. Trump won, and that's reason enough for a mandate for sweeping change. 125 49.80%
DOESN'T MATTER. The mandate concept is too vague to mean anything. 56 22.31%
Voters: 251. You may not vote on this poll

Whether or not he has this magical mandate is irrelevant . He has both the House and the Senate , and will have the Supreme Court within a month of taking office . What exactly is laughable about controlling every aspect of government ? And it will get worse in 2018 when 25 Dem senators come up for reelection, many in places Trump won, while the GOP only has to defend 8 , all in solid red states like TX and Utah . The GOP will likely be over 55 senators come 2019, with probably another SCOTUS pick .

Sounds to me like the GOP are the ones laughing .

As of today, Nov. 21, the California Sec'y of State's office reports there are 2.16 million ballots yet to be counted. Assuming Clinton's 29% lead over Trump holds, I expect that will add about 600k votes to her margin, boosting her up to around 2.3 million.

Largest margin in US History? Percentage? Certainly not, the 0.9% margin is around #41. Largest Landslide Victories In US Presidential Election History - WorldAtlas.com

Maybe you mean raw vote total? No, that can't be it. Reagan won in 1984 by over 16M https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ar_vote_margin
