Nope. Not happening. Especially since your party is unwilling to change and is still running the same crap that has lost them over 1,000 seats since 2009, and will kill them in the mid-terms in 2018.

You lefties just hate Trump, which is why you oppose everything he does.

To speculate at this point does not make any sense. The Democratic Party is in such a mess they are chasing their tail. IMO there are no viable candidates that have emerged that would beat anyone. Booker? total phony and useless, Warren? a mouth that says nothing that makes sense. I hope someone begins a new party.

That new party would choose Bernie to run for President.

Or a younger version of Bernie, who is yet to emerge.

Sanders motivated the Democratic base very strongly, and that motivation is something he encouraged. There could be an unknown out there right now who could rise to prominence as quickly as Bernie did, especially if Bernie endorsed him (or her).

It's pretty obvious that outsiders now have better chances at election than long-time party insiders in both parties. Both parties are sick and tired of business as usual, at the congressional deadlock, the inability to purge moneyed interests out of both parties, and a lot of other issues.

There's more similarity in both parties than most folks realize. Only the strategies for making massive change happen differ; the end result is pretty close to being the same.

Cuomo is really making a push to run. He is desperately trying to up his public profile at the expense of NYC citizens. The guy can't even erect a sign properly on the NY Thruway without the Federal government suing him for improper signage. He is the typical tax and spend blame everyone else for problems of his own making on everyone else. Just ask deBlasio how great Andy is.

Jon Tester of Montana, assuming he wins re-election next year. Culturally, he's a salt of the earth guy who's a farmer and music teacher in his private life. His economic positions range from center-left to center, he opposes illegal immigration, the NRA loves him, is against abortion on demand, born and raised in Montana. What Upper Midwest and Northern Plains Democrats used to be

You are very right. I came from a family that always voted for Democrats, but today if they were alive, there is no way they would be Democrats. Even in high school, the 70's, we looked at the attributes of each party and the attributes of the Democratic Party have changed.

With the current behavior of the Democratic Party, the best chance to beat Trump would come from a viable 3rd party. Maybe the Dem Party should break into two parties leaving the Clintons and their kind in the dust.

There is no leadership in the Democratic Party at this time. It appears to be a free for all.

Funny, I see 53 "other" and thought, "Oprah?" "Clinton?" and had a good laugh.

Other.......

Gumby, damnit!

Really, nobody will have a chance against Trump. The real winning hasn't even begun yet, and he still packs arenas when he comes to town to speak.

The 1980's was the Al Franken decade. He's thirty years past his "prime".

Franken running for POTUS would be the same type of unfunny joke as that skit on SNL in 1979.
