Their only hope to save themselves is to resurrect JFK.

To solve the economic problems today, JFK won't be enough. Need someone bolder like FDR.

Why do some of you people think the Party chooses someone to run? That isn't how it works. The Party doesn't "run" someone. Someone chooses to run for office. They are not picked by their Party.

I thought it was so obviously a joke that I didn't need emoticons so you are correct.

The first woman president will be a Republican and the Democrats think so, too. That's why they got a little nervous when Trump nominated Nikki Haley to the UN Ambassador post. They know the former governor will have executive (6 year Governor), legislative (SC House of Representatives) and foreign relations (UN Ambassador) experience should she decide to run for President in the future. And the double whammy for Democrats is she's Indian-American and currently only 45 years old.

Sounds like a center-left position (historically a Clinton-style position, which was rejected this election).

Wrong. It may have described Bill Clinton but certainly not Hillary's clinton

Hillary was pushed farther left this past election cycle by Bernie. Historically she was in line with Bill's.
