but either one is good. I think we need a President from the west again. Not the southwest, the northwest.

How about Cuomo. Every time he speaks, it sounds like a "I Have a Dream" speech.

Default -

Warren Buffet. Extremely successful businessman, long time Democrat, and from a red state - his business is based in Omaha. He and his children are all moral capitalists. Red state people would VERY easily choose him over another far right nut like t-Rump.

Obamacare isnt unsustainable. What you have is a 50 state solution where 35 of the states decided they would only partially implement it.

I would have voted for the Hillary Clinton of 9 years ago, but that Hillary Clinton wasn't running, Obama 2 was running, a continuation of the above. There are no Hillary Clinton's of 9 years ago or Bill Clinton's of the 90s anymore. I don't see one Democrat front runner being Pragmatic and Centrist enough to capture the American public, unless the Orange one kills the economy or gets us into another war like Iraq.
You do realize that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton both won a bigger share of the population than Bill ever did right ????

Jim Webb would be the dem candidate, corey, novelty election candidate part deux, booker, would be the socialist candidate. Perfect, no experience or qualifications to dispute as he has none.

Been hearing several rumors about Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" putting in serious consideration for running. I assume he will as a Democrat, although I cannot recall hearing this specifically. Not sure where he stands politically, I don't think he spoke too much, but being a celebrity(with no real scandals that I recall), being black(is he half?), being young(early 40s if I recall, definitely young for President), I think he stands a chance. It would be like an Obama, with the movie star history and no political history(which may help him).

Also heard Oprah flirting with the idea. I think that is an easy sell, black, famous, and female.

Has Hillary said anything? I think she could still be a serious contender but she will have baggage and age against her.

One thing I learned following politics the past decade, a few states really are the key to winning the Presidency. Obama and Trump are both non traditional candidates, and I believe both parties have the best chance by going with someone nontraditional. Obama was fairly young and a junior Senator, maybe Democrats can try the same strategy, get someone who isn't a power player in Congress, but can appeal to the key states.

I think people are tired of the typical politician running for office and want to see some fresh face. It's a shame that Trump just happens to be the first out of the gate.

The Rock definitely has a chance and if he was to run in 2020, he would likely need to run as a Democrat though I can also see him going as an Independent. If anyone can win outside the two major party, then he sure can.

Cory Cooker is another one with a chance but I think you'll have to give it to Dwayne just by Twitter followers alone. LOL. 11M to 3M followers is a big gap to overcome.

Provided that Dwayne can produce his birth certificate and has no major skeleton in his closet, it's almost a sure win for him if he runs.

And we'd have another president with zero political experience in what is still the most important job in the world. No thanks.
